NAB best selling "How-To"
DVD
BEST SELLING DVD - NAB 2007, 08, 09
WINNER OF 2007 TELLY AWARD !
We are pleased to announce that my latest movie, "Director/Cameraman" not only was the best selling video at
the 2007 NAB in Las Vegas, it also won the coveted 2007 Telly Award for Instructional videos. It retained it's top selling
position at NAB 08 and 09. I am pleased to have such an immediate and wonderful response to this 2-disc DVD set. I am convinced
that it will help thousands of new and experienced directors and cameramen to revisit exacty what they are doing. I can't
believe that after seeing this video, you won't look at your work in an entirely different manner. I've already received
over a dozen wonderful letters of thanks from around the world. Feel free to write me.
In the creation of my latest "how to" movie, "Director/Cameraman", I spend a good deal of time (in the movie) documenting
an actual shoot of "old time footage" to be used in my documentary feature, "Cowboys of Florida".
This was accomplished with the use of a Google Spreadsheet (click above).
The value of the Google spreadsheet is that it is available to every member of cast and crew, and can be continually
updated by the production staff, at any time, from any location.
.
Things change in a large production, especially with volunteer talent.
This shoot comprised the help of 20 people on crew and 22 in talent.
This schedule (in concert with the movie, Director/Cameraman), reflects that change.
Feel free to copy and utilize the concepts enclosed in this spreadsheet for your own productions. Please write me with
questions, or tales of success.
Victor Milt was given a "centerspread" in the January issue of Studio Magazine. His article on professional lighting
techniques featured the product shot. Photography for the spread was created by Adam Milt.
Victor
Milt has continued his popular standing room lectures on location techniques, conceptual graphics in video, and
greenscreen lighting techniques, guerilla lighting, directing and producing. His classes have become an NAB tradition among
many repeat followers. "You will learn SOMETHING today that will make you a better video producer".
Victor Milt will be one of two artists in the "cowboy capital of Florida", Arcadia, starting November 18, 2005. On
that date, he will be on-hand to meet his patrons and to discuss the Florida cowboy way of life. He expects to be showing
up to 20 original paintings at the show. For more info call: Martin Gallery, 207 E. Magnolia Ave., Arcadia, FL
